ORLANDO — Texas A&M International pitcher Rolando Riza has been on a mission ever since coming off lumbar surgery. Last year Riza tore his lumbar, and the pain persisted to the point he could not pitch anymore. Every time he attempted to throw he felt a pain radiate in his lumbar. 'I am not really sure when exactly it happened, but it was just a pain that was going on throughout the 2022 season, and it got to a point where I couldn't throw a baseball anymore,' Riza said. 'And with the help of my athletic trainer Kayla Zambanini I was able to come back just in time for the season.
