Observer School Zone News The city of Winter Garden recognized the winners of the Water Conservation Drop Savers Poster Contest at the April 13 City Commission meeting, immediately after Mayor John Rees proclaimed the month of April as Florida's Water Conservation Month. The Florida Section of the American Water Works Association sponsors the contest every year. Students in grades K-12 are encouraged to create a poster depicting a water conservation idea in slogan form or drawing form.
