Yellow fallen leaves may be a bit unsightly, but they are normal for magnolias at this time of the year. If there is any time magnolias look a little ugly, it is now and for the next month or two. Interestingly, not all shed their leaves at the same time. New leaves should quickly follow. There is more good news, too — soon, the large white and often fragrant blooms should open to help fill the gaps left by the fallen leaves.
